It's a life changing event....NOT KIDDING....I don't know anyone who has attended and not been greatly seduced by the CREATIVE SIDE OF THE FORCE. Teesha and Tracy Moore do the most amazing job of gathering instructors and creating a safe and warm environment perched on the shores of Puget Sound on Bainbridge Island. You can almost hear Richard Gere and Lou Gosset Junior shouting "rap" at one another (after all, aren't the armed forces where it really all started?) in their battle to get Richard Gere into manhood (I DIGRESS>>>>>)....ANYWAY......
ARTFEST 2008 is more than it's usual excitement for me this year....Oh, I'll be going for sure, as usual, but this year, I'm teaching!! Make sure to check out the line up, there are 23 returning instructors and 13 of us fledglings this year. I can't begin to tell you how honored and excited I am to be one of them...Teesha and Tracy have been the most amazing inspiration for me for a decade now and I look forward to the opportunity to share with you all the techniques and fun things I've learned on my life journey thus far.

Congrats on taching at ArtFest. I've never been. I was looking at your class then ventured over to your blog. Lucky girl......fulltime art. I turned 50 this year and have to sit behind a desk all day at my 8 - 5 job. Yuk!! I will be lurking around and reading your blog.

Hi Cindy...THANKS for looking and I hope you'll come to Artfest...I wasn't kidding when I said, "it's a life changing experience." And while you're sitting behind your desk doing that yucky job ESCAPE...tap in once in awhile and play with us...Starting soon I will have fun things to try and do to spark your creative side....and you never know, that may lead to a whole different life.

hello my friend!! I love your blog--glad I found it thru the AF site--first and foremost congratulations are in order-teaching at Artfest--very cool !!! I will be sure to have at least one of your classes on my list of choices! And of course on being able to actively pursue what we all hope to do one day...not have to work a "real" job and be able to play and create all day! Kudos to you - you deserve it:) I cannot wait till you start to have classes in PA--please be sure to keep us informed-I will definitely be there! Hope you will have sometime in the fall so we can have a girls day out and catch up on life and art!

Hey Donna....it is exciting and I'm very flattered and honored. It's my dream and I'm stickin' to it....only took me 14 years to get back to it FULL TIME but it was worth every second...wouldn't change a thing. I too am looking forward to teaching again ASAP.....just talking it over with the DH this morning trying to work out all the logistics so it can happen sooner than later....I really missed the teaching most of all and can't wait to emerse myself again. One of the great percs of teaching is the wonderful people you meet.....like you!

Dearest Bee, you have shown us that dreams can come true! The best thing about artfest was getting to meet you and share in your gentle and generous spirit. I admire you for just doing what had to be done to get to where you are now. You will be an inspired and inspiring teacher at Artfest.
