Have a wonderful time at Art & Soul! &rew

Well! Finally! I'm glad to hear that all seems to be going well with you, my dear friend. Have fun at A&S. I'm sorry I have to wait until October to see you....write if you've a moment. I've been worried.

THUNK. Did you hear that? It was me, falling off my chair because you BLOGGED. It was so fun to see you again. What a great day to spend with new and old friends, and that Judi let us invite ourselves right over. We should do it more often. Congrats on the article - looks fab. Have a grand time at A&S!!

I did see that you were in Somerset, and I was excited for you. I LOVED LOVED LOVED your class, and think fondly of you. Hope all is well, and please do keep blogging!!!

I've been checking your blog for months...waiting, waiting, waiting (I'm very patient you know) waiting, waiting, waiting...and then miracle of miracles...Pigs flew!
Your class at ARtFest was a life changer for me...It flipped a switch somewhere...I see things differently. Kind of like finding my Super Spidey Powers.

I've been planting, watching and waiting for poppy pods, love in a mist, rose hips and all the wonderful presents that flowers leave behind. Still a ways to go before I can harvest...

GREAT issue of Somerset...can't wait for LK's new book.

Wow. I really needed to hear that there really is someone out there living the life they know they were meant to live, surrounded by people who "get it"! It seems I am always taking one step forward and 4 steps back on this very path. And, well, don't even get me started on the people! That is why Artfest was so amazing for me...even if only for a moment, I (we all!) were surrounded by "our kind". So cool! Would love to see the photos of the studio! So great to have met you at Artfest...your little bird greets me every morning, so I think of you often! And I don't think that I told you that someone actually mistook me for you there! What a compliment!! Best to you in all your new ventures! You deserve it!

.....I'm sitting here waiting to hear more.....I'm so enjoying getting to know you.

Let's get together when you get back.

where have all the flowers gone, long time passing, where have all the flowers gone, long long ago, where have all the flowers gone, picked by young girls everyone, oh when will Bee post again? Oh when will Bee post again?

(okay, so P,P, & M didn't sing it THAT was, but the COULD have....)

Stephanie T.

Just topped in to say I was thinking of you today...When things get 'stormy' around here, thinking about your class takes me back to a happier place and time.

hey you BEESHAY! - so happy to have met you at art and soul - I remember your sweet and seductive smile - so well...

  • ARTFEST 2009 April 1-5
I will be teaching on Friday and Saturday at ARTFEST 2009. Artfest is held annually at the beautiful Ft. Worden State Park on Bainbridge Island in Washington state. About 1.5 hours out of Seattle on the Olympic Pennisula, Artfest is a retreat/workshop experience that should definitely be experienced. Check it out.... www.teeshamoore.com
  • 1800 House Nantucket MA Summer 2009
I will be teaching four workshops here....steeped in history the Nantucket Historical Society (NHA) has turned one of their beautiful historic houses (built in 1800...hence the name) into a warm and inviting environment for people to come and learn early american folk art skills. Their Creating History Program is in it's early years and just an amazing experience worth the trip. Check out their website www.nha.org (then click on the link to 1800 House) for a complete schedule. Also....look at my photos under 1800 House to see what's we've been up to there this summer (2008).

Self Portrait Project

  • These are some (all to be posted eventually) of my entries into Teesha Moore's Self Portrait Project which I was so graciously invited to join. It's a two year long project with 25 artists, each month we receive a new journal to work in, each time, doing a self portrait. Some of the journals come with instructions and some came with a note to "just express yourself"....it's been an eye opening experience and it's almost through....I'm truly going to miss these books every month.
